I’d like an update on where Republicans stand on activist judges. For decades they were ruining America, if I recall correctly. But now I look around at the various issues…
Immigration? Obama’s executive order – which seemed perfectly legal back when Reagan and Bush did it – is being held up by activist judges.
Climate change? The EPA caps on carbon emissions are moving forward, but businesses are pinning their sole hopes on stopping them to… activist judges.
Health care? We thought Obamacare was being settled. But it’s facing a desperate, ridiculous challenge that still could win based on… activist judges.
Marriage equality? Held up in Alabama because of – you guessed it – an activist judge.
If activist judges who legislate from the bench are so evil, why do they seem to be the entire conservative legislative strategy right now?
