A 19-month-old baby is in a coma – wait, it gets even funnier – from a stun grenade that a Georgia SWAT team threw into his crib during a drug raid last month.
The SWAT team was staging a no-knock raid on a house where undercover cops had bought drugs. The Economist reports that there were about 3,000 SWAT raids in America in 1980. Now there are about 50,000 a year. The baby doesn’t have health insurance. It would be nice, along with the thing in Afghanistan, if America wrapped this war up too.
